Наводнение в Непале: Разбор ситуации в секторе от таможни Расува в Тимуре до границы в Тибет

On the border section between Nepal and Tibet, where an ancient trade route has crossed the Himalayas for centuries, an event occurred whose scale is hard to grasp at once. This isn't just a single point on the map, but an entire sector about 7 km long — from the border crossing itself to the village of Timure — and almost everything there was changed beyond recognition within minutes. In this episode, we break it down using footage, satellite images, and eyewitness accounts: — What happened to the people who were at the customs terminal, the migration office, and in the village itself at that moment — who managed to survive, and why the fate of some people remains unknown to this day. — What remained of the customs post and the village of Timure after the flow swept through the valley? We compare "before" and "after" footage using maps and video. — How was the Rasuwagadhi hydroelectric power plant affected? The underground tunnel, the machine hall, and the fate of the staff who were working inside at the moment of the event. — Were there real chances of survival by climbing up the mountain? We analyze slope angles, distances, and how much time people had to decide. — Was there a chance to escape on the Chinese side of the border? We look at footage filmed beyond the border crossing. — Where did such a colossal volume of water for a flow of this scale even come from? We examine several theories, including calculations of the volume of ice and rock involved. This isn't a retelling of the news, but an attempt to reconstruct the full picture — step by step, using specific landmarks on the ground, with maps and video clips. Watch until the end! 📍 Location: a roughly 7 km stretch of the Nepal–Tibet (PRC) border, from the Rasuwagadhi border crossing to the village of Timure, the Bhote Koshi River gorge, the Himalayas, Nepal.
