  Goth I'd say is a pretty important fashion movement of the 80's. It's also something that's changed to be unique to each decade since its inception.

  I think u forgot the biggest fashion influence from music- Madonna!! Crosses, rosaries, laces, plastic bangles, laces and boytoy belts!

  Although i grew up poor abused and neglected, being born in 1982 was one of the best things in my life!  At least i was given a tv, movies and a radio to watch and listen to the best pop culture of all time!  Watching pop stars like Michael jackson, madonna, whitney houston, prince on mtv etc was awesome!  ❤🎉❤🎉❤

  Born in 1970 it was great being a kid in the 70’s and a teen in the 80’s we wanted to make it, so we worked hard and played hard..

  So glad I grew up in the 80’s…huge crush on Nick from Duran Duran and Nik, and Adam lol, being goth (you can never have too much black in the wardrobe), and the music!<br><br>And indie bands

  As a college student during this period I remember feeling free from the depressive state of the 60s and 70s. &nbsp;Everything felt new and exciting!
