Very useful. I'm in the same situation where I'm temporarily running a unit into a socket until I can wire my consumer unit into the main distribution board. This video helped me a lot

Watched with interest . I'm quite handy & have done a lot of electrical work , indoors also my home bar in the garage . I've a big connection to the building trade , my late father was a bricklayer my late fathering law was a good sparks all his life . One thing is for sure , electrical work should be the most respected . It is very dangerous in many ways . If I do any electrical work I will only work to my ability & understanding . When my father-in-law was with us he was always there for advice .
