Retired Mopar car designer here. This should be a required video for every snot-nosed young engineer who told me "bigger is always better" when I was routing exhaust. I always tried to tell them there is a point of diminishing return and you need to do the maths. I just draw the pictures.

The more power the engine has, the bigger the difference will be. Wouldn't expect much on a 250hp SBC, but a 500+HP SBC going to be a hell of a difference.
