  I gotta say, it shouldn’t be illegal to sleep or camp in your vehicle anywhere, as long as you don’t cause any problems for the environment

  Possibly the best stealth camper build I&apos;ve seen, absolutely love the results. One thing though, please get a carbon monoxide alarm given the diesel heater!

  With a fake builders van, you risk getting it broken into by somebody who wants to steal any tools he can find. And it&apos;s not just during the night; there have been some really determined break-ins in broad daylight, in a supermarket car park of all places. You&apos;d be better off with a fake laundry van as nobody wants to steal a load of dirty sheets.

  Fix that intermal back door handle as a priority and get a fire extinguisher. If that power supply under driver seat starts a fire and you can&apos;t get back through the front doors you need a way out

  &apos;Pest Control&apos; Signage would also be good for a stealth camper.<br>As it&apos;s my occupation, i can tell you nobody would want to break into a pest tech&apos;s van in case they come face to face with dead rats or some type of awful smell! 😂<br>It would also explain away why your van might be seen in wooded areas etc, because of course, Pest&apos;s can be found anywhere!

  i&apos;m in an old removal truck that is sign written. i replaced the phone number with one that goes to voice mail &quot;Hello you&apos;ve reached... we are currently experiencing a large number of calls, please leave a message...&quot;. the fun part is i configured it so you can&apos;t leave a message. there&apos;s also a website containing pictures of furniture, removalists and a short thing i wrote about &quot;how we move you&quot; containing the same number and an email that doesn&apos;t work.<br>one tip i will give you, light leakage is a big thing, that&apos;s how people can tell that someone is in a van. that skylight/vent is clear and will light up like a christmas tree at night. i had something similar that was tinted and it still lit up at night. i ended up finding a version that had an opaque white lid.

  😂😂😂 I do the same thing, so people don&apos;t think I&apos;m a woman traveling alone. A nice Army sticker on the back, trucking hats on the dash, flannel shirts &amp; man things around, nothing of value to a thief. Old leather gloves. I bring multiple chairs &amp; set things out like there&apos;s 2 or 3 campers. 😅 Camouflage

  Here in New Zealand, the law requires councils to allow for people camping in their vehicles as long as they meet standards around waste disposal. But many councils ignore the law, and restrict it illegally, or push the limits of the law, knowing the average camper doesn&apos;t have the financial resources to challenge it. I like this idea.
