Oh Peter, how enthusiastic you were about teaching the kid you've met a few minutes ago

it's sad to see how ecstatic Peter was to find out that Miles was like him to he was even willing to show him how to be Spider-Man if he stayed around. man 😔

6:30 the second he hears Kingpin coming he realizes he may not have time left. He only just met Miles but he can tell, beyond a shadow of a doubt that he’s a good kid, so he relays the plan, and tells miles the essential things to know. No one can know who he is, no one can see his face. This Spider-Man wasn’t just nice, he trusted this kid he just met to make the right decision and, above all, be responsible with his power. He’s the goat.

No one else seems to notice that Miles' destiny as the Prowler didn't change until he met Spider-Man, not after he was bitten by that spider.

Since we're talking about details, just wanna throw out that at 0:31 Miles is experiencing future events in his head before they happen. Likely because he was bit by an interdimensional spider and the collider was still being worked on at the time.

I feel like we don't talk about how strong this Peter Parker is. Not only was he able to stop the collider with ONE HAND. He also tanked that explosion at point blank and was still alive. Very injured yes but still alive when Goblin died. Pete died because he was so injured to the point where that smash to his chest finally did him in. That Peter was a absolute unit

What’s crazy is at 2:19 when their spidey senses resonate, the colors of the squiggly lines for Peter is blue and red while Miles’ is green and pink but then changed to blue and red. Miles’ being pink and green means he was suppose to be the prowler and the fact it changed to blue and red means that things changed in the spiderverse. Not my idea tho somebody mentioned it in another comment lol

.. the spider came from earth 42, you can hear Miles G speaking from the other dimension. And asking himself “why is this happening to me” and “I don’t wanna be a superhero” grieving about his dad. The exact time when the Prowler was born on earth 42

This gives it a different view. Of the story.

1:54 “If you hadn't been bit, your Peter Parker would've lived! Instead he died, saving you. He would've stopped the collider before it ever went off, Spot wouldn't exist, and none of this would've happened. And all this time, I have been the only one holding it all together.”

This makes sense, if Miles hadn’t been there, you can see Spider-Man was on his way to insert the goober but time was being taken to save Miles and have a spider sense conversation together. That entire time would have been used for Spider-Man to insert the goober and “stop the collider before it ever went off”

I still root for Miles though
