  I imagine all the equipment cost a bit. If only there was a TV shop like yours around here, I work for free to learn. One thing is for sure, I can get as many TVs as I need to practice on.

  I am the unofficial official TV recycle center in my little town, a computer shop in town gets calls for repairs and he does not repair them so he is sending them my way, most will likely be cracked but I will save the boards.

  Hi Nick.  great videos.  It looks like there are at least two of us with the problem of Bluetooth not working after a motherboard replacement.  What I discovered (in settings/system info) is that the electronic serial number and the bluetooth ID are missing (blank).  I believe that this is the reason that Bluetooth does not work.  Bluetooth is required for voice commands to work on the remote.  Thanks.

  Thanks to your videos I fixed my Sony KD-65XE8505.  The motherboard failed and I replaced it with a motherboard from the model KD-55XE8577.  I had to repeat the software update a few times, but it worked and the TV is working.  The only option I'm not sure works is the voice command.  But thanks 1 more subscriber.  Keep up the good work 🙂

  Good day. <br>I have a sony kd 65xe8505 tv. <br>I bought a board from a TV kd 65xe8596 after the replacement, the opening music seems to play, the backlight is on, but I have no picture. <br>12v is on the tcon board. Don&apos;t you know what could be wrong? <br>I don&apos;t like flex cables, especially the side that goes to the mainboard

  @Nick&apos;s TV Repair <br>I have a Sony KDL-65X85J...I recently acquired it as is, when I turn it on, it does with very white faint picture background then quickly change to brownish white<br><br>Then the tv promptly changes or progress to the standby mode where you hear button interaction sounds with backlight on &amp; sound but noo picture...<br><br>I believe attempts were made to replace the T-con board but when I try the replacement myself with spare T-con board, the tv power led light would blink x5 times then shut down.<br><br>When reinstall the original T-con board I would get the first &amp; original issue I highlighted.<br><br>I checked the output voltages from the power supply board using a odometer &amp; they seem to be in check &amp; balances.... 3.3v, 12v...<br><br>Besides the lack of picture images or signal, upon closer inspection at the back, far LEFT bottom of the disassembled KDL-65X85J tv, on the buffer board area, 1 of the COF LCD ribbon is removed, unattached. Not rip or torn..is this a major concern??...I will seek to get it rebounded. but how is this ?.<br><br>Sincerely....🇯🇲

  Hi Nick, can you help me? I have a kd65x9005b with a faulty main board and I want to exchange it for a kd55x9005b main board but I haven&apos;t been able to pair it yet, it keeps alternating between green and orange. Doing the sequence (info5vol+power) I can enter the service menu. Thank you in advance for any tip as it does not accept the update of the file taken from the sony website. thanks

  Hi Nick. I like your videos. I have Sony KD 55XF9005 230 Volt &nbsp;europe model. I have 4 red blinks problem. My TV was giving an error after working for a few hours at first, I noticed that two of the rear leds were blinking. When this happened it was giving an error right after.<br><br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;When I unplugged it, waited for a long time and turned it on again, it was still working for a few hours. However, this time gradually decreased and was reduced to a few seconds.<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Where can we buy the jeeps like this one you changed? Thank you very much.

  Hey nick can u help me please ? Im from germany and i have the same problem with the hdmi on my sony bravia kd-55X8505C. Then i did a reset and my tv don&apos;t starts anymore always in bootloop. I then ordered a new mainboard and installed it, but my tv still doesn&apos;t start and I have no picture at all. The indicator flashes green and yellow then it goes off and it flashes again but nothing happens. Does the new mainboard have to be taught in? thank you and greetings from Germany baho
