We continue our Palawan journey to El Nido, Philippines, surrounded by turquoise water, tropical islands, and spectacular limestone cliffs. After arriving from Coron, we explore El Nido for the first time before joining an island-hopping tour the following morning. We snorkel in clear tropical water, enjoy a freshly prepared Filipino lunch by the sea, explore beautiful lagoons surrounded by towering limestone formations, and try kayaking together for the first time. This footage was filmed in 2022 during our first trip together, before we started this YouTube channel. We were not making a proper vlog at the time, but this journey eventually became the starting point of the travel videos we create today. After spending three days exploring Coron, we continue our journey to El Nido. From the moment we arrive, the atmosphere feels completely different. We ride through town by tricycle, explore the local streets, check into our hotel, and spend our first evening discovering El Nido. The following morning, we head out for another island-hopping adventure. Surrounded by the huge limestone formations that make El Nido so distinctive, we travel between islands and snorkeling spots by boat. Klein is still nervous about snorkeling after being scared during our first experience in Coron, but she gets back into the water and gives it another try. We spend time swimming and snorkeling together before stopping for a freshly prepared Filipino lunch by the sea. As the day continues, the scenery becomes even more dramatic. We explore shallow tropical waters surrounded by limestone cliffs, make our way through narrow rocky passages, and discover another side of Palawan that feels completely different from anything we had experienced before. For the final part of the day, we try kayaking together for the first time. At first, we are not quite sure where we are going or how to control the kayak, but Klein quickly gets the hang of it. Soon, we are paddling together through the incredible limestone scenery of El Nido. Until shortly before this trip, Hiro had never even heard of El Nido—and he had never considered himself much of a beach person. Somehow, just a few weeks later, we were here, snorkeling between tropical islands and kayaking beneath enormous limestone cliffs. It was another day full of first experiences, beautiful scenery, Filipino food, and the little moments that made our first journey together so memorable.
