  I’ve experienced this! I was 430 lbs for almost 15 yrs. People loved it. Now when I post my new 138-143 range - I get accused of showing off and “hating myself”

  I’m an equestrian, and I can tell you that she weighs too much to ride a regular sized horse. (Maybe even a draft). The 20% rule is proven through tests and studies. It means that you have to be less than 20 % of the horses body weight, including tack. If not followed, it’s found that horses have an abundance of back issues and other problems. It’s not “fat shaming”, it’s just that you can’t abuse an animal. Doing the math, 240/1000 lbs is 24%, not even including tack, which weighs an extra 20-50 pounds. &nbsp;With all of this in mind, she would be putting at least 260 lbs on a horses back, 26%. And that’s only the bare minimum. It doesn’t seem like too much of a difference, but it can be permanent to a horses back.

  I had never been as miserable as I was when I was 4 stone overweight. Having the ability to move, be healthy and feel great in myself is priceless.
