Events in The Amazing Spider-Man were planned out in advance. Also it is hard to compare one man's work on one comic, to what Marvel was doing, having to have several several artists create several comics every month. Unless I don't understand, and he was doing other comics as well.

As a somewhat simplified overview, I think the video was very good. Some of the visuals seemed to be pulled from the realms of film and animation, though. Comics-making is not quite that sophisticated. One thing you seemed to suggest strongly was that <i>backgrounds</i> are handled by different groups of specialists. Maybe for some manga and animation projects, that is true. But NOT for Western comics; it falls to the penciler to handle that, too.

I alway felt before knowing what you want too say, you need to have something to say. As in have some deep understanding in a few various aspects in live, maybe a deep interst in thinks outside of art
