  to me, the scariest thing xana ever did to the team was the laughing gas episode. as a kid i would try to hold my breath whenever characters went underwater or otherwise couldn’t breathe. even though laughing isn’t the same thing, they were basically suffocating

  For anyone wondering, Yumi actually does have the shortest time ever spent in Lyoko at only 12 seconds in the triple trouble episode from season 3. She gets taken out by a mega tank

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJuPEQEFSq8&amp;t=353">5:53</a> Xana didn&apos;t possess Yumi (they weren&apos;t powerful enough to possess people at this point in the story), it sent a clone Yumi through the scanner while keeping the real Yumi on Lyoko in a bubble prison.

  I’m actually glad somebody pointed this out, as a kid I thought I was the only one who noticed that xana treats yumi so much more differently than the other kids, as a kid I thought it was because she was the leader instead of Jeremy, but now I think it’s because xana reflects off of her, yumi being a distant stoic person with the ability to strengthen her groups morale, and xana being an cold calculative manipulating Ai

  I thought he hated Aelita more. She gets kidnapped and attacked so many times on and off Lyoko.

  You are right, Xana was made to be a cold calculating strategic ai that doesn&apos;t hold back, him targeting yumi first constantly was because unlike the rest of the crew who had faults that can be easily exploited to silence them for good yumi was the voice of reason in the team which would ruin any of Xana&apos;s chances, olrich is the type to follow on others and his biggest flaw is that it&apos;s easy for him to not care at all especially if it&apos;s about others who have no relation to him (lack of sympathy) there were many instances in the show where it was shown or care way too much which can become a hindrance to his actions, Jeremy can be delusional sometimes if it&apos;s not for yumi being the harsh truth that brings him down to earth, odd is a goofball who doesn&apos;t like taking things seriously and because of that he can mess up a lot so you get to see his teammates many times giving him instructions on what needs to be done or achieved, aelita is the princess type if it&apos;s not for her Quick thinking and the fact that she got used to lyoko&apos;s world she would have been done for a long time ago not to mention xana was shown many times that he had the edge when it came down to just the 2 of them only if not for her squad being the knights they are to her rescue, yumi makes for a great captain when it&apos;s about strategic fighting and reaching out to the goal, Jeremy is the technical support who analyzes the situations, Ulrich is the ace fighter while odd is the backup for when things go south, oddly enough odd has been shown to be the trick card for impossible last second stuff despite the fact that Ulrich is the most capable when it boils down to close combat fights and he can still close the distance &nbsp;well, however both yumi and odd have insane potential when it involves doing insane maneuvers that&apos;s almost impossible, and between the two, yumi is more capable because unlike odd who sometimes rely on pure luck yumi tends to be precise and calculating and that can be scary powerful if left unchecked that&apos;s why xana always goes for the head of the snake, xana hates something that&apos;s on to his tricks and tactics and yumi is the most reasonable person in the squad who is down to earth and is sharp.

William wouldn’t have gotten possessed had they let him get out on Lyoko when the stakes were lower, they waited until the 11th hours after Xana had been stomping them into the dirt in the most disrespectful ways possible for numerous episodes.<br><br>Letting William onto Lyoko with only Aelita for a Sector 5 mission after they barely explained anything KNOWING how that place runs was never gonna end well and that’s why everything that happened after happened. Had Yumi sucked it up and let William into the game way before them things would’ve turned out differently.
