  Joe Biden actually knew my late grandmother, Mary Maloney. She'd supported him in the 80s, then when he was VP, and then later President. When she passed my grandfather got a phone call from (then) President Biden. It's a memory I won't forget.

  I think Hillary&apos;s great failure was that she kept assuming she had it in the bag, while her opponents understood the actual game mechanics better. She got more raw votes, but got out maneuvered on how they were counted.

  I was 14, 15 during this time. This was the first Presidential election that I followed from start to finish, 2007 - 2009. I recorded news coverage of all the primaries, conventions, debates, election night etc. Saved all the newspapers and TIME magazines as well. &nbsp;It was a great first one to follow because it had such a variety of candidates and it was a unique campaign because it was the first Presidential election since 1952 where nether major party nominated a sitting President or Vice President. The end result was very historic with Obama’s victory in the Presidential election. Thanks so much for putting this together, &nbsp;it brings back memories of my early passion for politics!
