  Small correction! The Red and Green signals shown on the report diagram are the wrong way round...my only defense is that I'm red/green colourblind...though I'm not sure that works...thanks for watching! T

  Clear explanation, on-site reportage, engaging graphics, archive footage, and simple illustrations. What a breath of fresh air while wading through so much artificially generated ‘content’ on YouTube.<br>There was a perfect storm of adverse conditions, and perhaps a driver coasting on experience leading to disaster. As usual, the safety lessons learned are written in blood. It is miraculous, considering the devastation of the crash site, so few died.

  I was 11 at the time but I recall my Mother the folowing morning telling me there had been a train crash at Marden &amp; a plane crash near Gatwick that night. We had previously lived at Staplehurst so I was familiar with Marden. An Afghanistan 727 had crashed on approach in the early hours of the 5th Jan. A night to remember for all the wrong reasons.

  I was living in Kent at that time and despite living on that route I was totally unaware of this, until now. &nbsp;Thank you for your meticulous presentation and the shots of that beautiful part of Kent.
