Also can you make a podcast about bunks replacements on 2001 Cobias because they are very heavy and the hall is very tricky to put wood on the transom area. Thank you sir

Redlyme is allso dissolving away metal (aluminium) oxidation. If you flush motor with fresh water (or with saltaway) it will flush away salt crystals inside motor water ways. If there is allready corrosion in aluminium fresh water (or saltaway) will not remove that. I hope that this explanation will help you to pic a right stuff for your engine flushing needs.

Certain ones you can... Check in your settings if there's a choice for reverse mount.. then the mfd will read it properly.

I've triedreverse mounting this on my freshwater boat and it doesn't work. You don't catch much on side scan anyway when it comes to your outboards. When it comes speed you will never be able reliably read on a fish finder. A thru hull works better but still won't read. Your fish finders optimal reading speed is up to about 25mph. After that you will not read much other than a whale 😂 if you get returns at all. The amount of power you would need your transducer to put out to receive a return at high speed can't be created in a recreational setting.

What’s going on bro, quick question for the show… just spent 2 grand on a full service, motor was coming up on 260 hours. After service I take it out and the motor stalls on me on idle. Chem the primer bulb and it’s empty (primed it before launch). I go to prime it again and just he squishing like gas and air are going through it. Had to pump it quite alot to get it firm again. Was able to run it back enough to get back to the launch and it killed again while idling. Primer was empty again. Shop that did the work, seemingly not gonna help out… running a 2003 bass boat with a 2017 merc 250 pro xs. Just wondering what you think could be the cause. Also the fuel lines, primer and water/fuel separator are all new from the service.

Videos like this really annoy me. Creator clearly doesn't have the information or experience necessary to answer the question. Rather than saying he was uncertain he makes up answers that belie his lack of experience and expose his ignorance on the subject matter. Dude just say you don't know, or ask a professional and give that information with the disclaimer or better yet don't pick that as a question to answer.
