Listen, all I'm saying is, if you want to do a single podcast on each game that goes over every single song, I will watch every second

It is baffling how good the music is for the whole Final Fantasy series. 38 years of consistently amazing music. Thanks for the deep dive!

Took the survey. Good luck. I have no problem with you pursuing sponsorships. You should get paid for what you provide. Taking care of financial obligations will free up your creative mental bandwidth. Ps. I already give on Patreon and still support sponsors.

Fisherman's horizon was such a nice way to start this

FF7 and FF9 are definitely my top 2 ost's in the series. A few gems from 9 that were missed in this discussion are the battle 2 boss theme, kujas theme, city of Treno, and of course the AMAZING black mage village, to name a few. 😉

52:00 Roses and Wine also plays when Squall jumps out into space to catch Rinoa.

Can't wait for the FFIX podcast series where the guys realize how wrong they were to not give FFIX two episodes dedicated to its soundtrack.

“Roses and Wine” for me represents that beautiful moment when you’re talking to a girl for whom you’ve developed feelings, but right before you ask her to be your girlfriend, and you know she’s going to say, “yes,” so your day is bright and there’s literally nothing else but bliss and happiness in your mind. The feeling of triumph, the relief, and the realization that this is happening for real!

It fits perfectly in the scene it plays in the game (Laguna and Julia’s scene).
