Ah….this story wrecked my husband and I. When my husband became quadriplegic about 1.5 years ago, we looked through the Bible for all the stories of paraplegics/quadraplegics and this story stood out and impacted us deeply. Beautiful, powerful story; thank you for sharing, brother!

I just read about Mephibosheth and never thought about how it mirrors what God did for us through Jesus Christ. I will most definitely have to read it again.

i recently read 1 and 2 Samuel and man the story of Mephibosheth and how David treated him… that picture of Christ and what He’s done for us blew me away. We are all crippled , bringing nothing to the table and yet the King says “dine with me “

I called it the moment I saw the title. When I read 1,2 Samuel last time I cried when I figured out the grace Daivd gives is like the grace that Jesus gives to us.
