I specifically looked up this clip thinking of the late great. I ran into Robin randomly maybe a week or so after this aired at the Puma store in SoHo nyc of all places. It was mid day on a weekday and he was blending in and keeping a low profile. I remember everything vividly. He had on a driver hat, military style field jacket, goth like style wide bottom pants (like JNCo cut style)  with combat boots. Scarf and side satchel as well.  I almost did not notice him if it were not for the two employees who were star struck talking to him. I just got the sense that this person was out of your ordinary customer and It was him when I saw his face. I left the store before he did and stopped outside to text a friend from a flip phone that I had just seen Robin and so happened that he left the store and was about to pass me when I looked up. My immediate reaction was to tell him that I loved the impersonations he did on Regis and Kelly and in that moment he did the Italian one quickly for me as he was walking past. It was just a couple of seconds but I will always remember how he smiled, did the impersonation and then gave a gentle wave and smile as he looked back while walking to say bye. After that I just wanted him disappear into the nyc crowd. I will always remember that. RIP Robin. The world misses you.

It is time of the year to watch this classic again. His fluency in italian commucation is unmachted and maybe underrated...<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9ARfFFsbHs&amp;t=834">13:54</a> to <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9ARfFFsbHs&amp;t=874">14:34</a> absolute mayhem!
