How is it that Noctis has more chemistry with every other girl <i>but</i> the girl he's suppose to get with?  Like on a serious note, even that DLC girl, Sarah, seemed more like a potential love interest than his main one and she's not even part of the main story in anyway.  It's like the makes didn't even try and just expect people to accept Luna because she's the main heroine and not because they grew closer together over the journey.  Luna isn't even a bad character, they just did nothing with her until late in the game while other women have interacted with Noctis far earlier and for longer overall.  I get why Luna isn't involved until later, being basically the McGuffin that everyone is after, but if she's out of way because of story reasons then if you're going to build a romance around her you gotta find a way to incorporate her more while still telling the story you're telling.

final fantasy xv was my first final fantasy too and i became a huge fan of the franchise because of it. and its really funny because despite playing other ff games that people say are better... they simply can't compare to xv for me despite the issues i had with it. i will never forget the feeling of crying my eyes out at the campfire scene.

I relate so hard to being swept up in the hype for this game and subsequently feeling really strongly about it, in spite of its flaws. It's a game that lives and dies on its core characters and the subtle, quiet moments you have with them, so it's lovely that the boys are so well-realized and the world is so rich.

Despite how jank the game's story was, I love the camping and fishing mechanic. Hours gone away completing the fish compendium.

That flashback cutscene with Luna saying how much she cares for Noctis and the cutscene of the boys trying to fight Ardyn at the crystal were both in the base game at launch. Source: I beat the game three times and 100% it before the Episode Gladio DLC even came out back in the day, and never came back to the game after Episode Ignis

Just hanging out with the boys playing dress up, going camping, fighting stuff sometimes and seeing the sights, peak game.

As someone who's been playing this series for over 20 years, I am ashamed to admit this is like my second favorite Final Fantasy.

Honestly, the best picture you can use at the end of the video is the one you can use until the turtle. Because Esse Lasagne uses the ring against the turtle. The longest boss fight lasts less than five seconds. And then you rest in the hotel and then you have three times as much experience, which makes it all the funnier.

i never saw trailers of versus 13 back in the day, hell i wasn't even a final fantasy fan but hell i had one of the best times everr with this game
