Sucks for Tom but instead of being abused in an orphanage then offing himself, he helped save his mother, grandmother and great grandfather, and gave them all much better lives than they otherwise would have had. A sacrifice most good people would make. For someone who never existed, he had a great impact.

I love how you can still make a good movie on a low budget - just filming people out in the woods in a run-down cabin. The secret ingredient is always good writing.

What sucks about this movie is the fact the son did all that and still wasn’t born in the end. 🤦♂️

I think it’s about generational trauma and how your great grandparent, someone you never even met, could have such an impact on your life due to how they raised your grandparent who then raised your parent who then raised you. If I could go back in time and prevent my mother from getting with my father, even if it means I’ll never exist, I’d do it. For her, I would.

What a great story. You don’t need massive budgets, CGI, gratuitous violence or nudity. You don’t even need an A list movie star. Just great writing with good artists and crew.

According to IMDB, the movie is Enter Nowhere, 2011, I stopped at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4G6LK7x4Is&t=510">8:30</a> and went to watch the movie on Prime. It was free with a couple of commercials. Well worth it. The ending does make sense.

Well, Tom did a good deed. He tried to help his grandmother put gas in her car. But what he went through is terrible. His father was a piece of work.

Time travel/time loops/parallel universes/alternate histories are some of my all-time favorite Sci-Fi themes. It actually surprises me I had never heard of this movie, "Enter Nowhere" before. I look forward to finding it and watching it.
