  Advice from an old lifelong mountain woman of Wa St: Never engage in conversation with someone in the woods you cannot see... esp if they're whispering "help"...

  Honestly, if even half of this is real, authorities should’ve shut that area down completely. The fact people keep going missing and nothing changes is terrifying.

  I lived in the deep forest of the Pacific Northwest and I felt nothing but peace, heard, the creek, birds, squirrels, saw bear, deer, etc. I loved riding my horse 5 miles up the mountain alone. Huge Cedar trees darken the day with glimmers of sunlight. I remember a few times walking up a dark narrow road after dark and did i get scared, only the fear was,  there may be a human close by.

  I’ve never thought camping in the woods would be fun. Too many people have gone missing, never to be seen again.

  Old folks always say, no matter where you are if you hear someone calling your name do not answer especially when you are alone because if you answer or call out in response, it’s an invite to whatever called your name.

  Not everyone is lying .. keep an open mind , spend nights in the forest , be respectful.

  I've been in the Mount Hood National Forest, camped in my car, off roads (dirt roads,) looking and finding the Oregon trail, and my friend and I found the Oregon trail,..... But we saw, and crossed paths with weirdos at times, people acting suspicious,.... But we always came back out of the woods okay. Also I've explored the Washington State forests up in the Olympic peninsula, never had a problem, but always carried protection. Be careful, be safe, be prepared when out in forests.

  I lived in the Appalachians and people were always warned stay out of our woods from the folks in our area but not just people but something unexplained my family has lived there since 1838 so what happens in those areas are probably true when warned listen and leave if you know what is good for you

  Never hike alone, for your own safety.  I know of an area in the PNW, that people have been killed, and they never found the killers.  I tell people to never hike without protection who go up there.

  Many years ago my parents and I were on our way to a camp we saw a man and a woman walking we turned to see if they needed a ride  when we came to the location no one was there no cars passed us either
