  The maid &nbsp;pushed buttons of the gate to get out. Also a police officer again push the gate button.

  I just recently learned the Watson, Van Houten, and Krenwinkle had to hitchhike back to the ranch after the Labianca murders. Did anyone ever come forward as the person that gave them the ride, and subsequent reaction when finding out what they had done?

  I&apos;m more sold on the copycat/try and get Bobby Beausoleil free motive theory than the &quot;Helter Skelter&quot; motive theory. &nbsp;The reason I hold that opinion is because the free Bobby Beausoleil motive by means of providing him plausible deniability makes far more sense than the idea of them wanting to spark a full-fledged race war that would have an uncertain outcome for them. &nbsp;Jus&apos; sayin&apos;

  This is well done, Alex. You are far more accurate than so many others in exploring these Tate/LaBianca murders. <br>Also, you have the proper balance when it comes to motives, highlighting both the Helter Skelter race war, and the copycat angles. That is key. <br>Finally, you clearly have read at least the Watson book, and wisely you are willing to take what he says seriously. Susan&apos;s book is also required reading. <br>Again, nice work.
