  CRAZY that people think 65k is nothing in 6 months! That's a great start! Most don't make that in a year working for  companies !

  Just did my first job yesterday. Some furniture, a grill, yard debris, and a few lawn mowers. Already learning from mistakes, I did not not account for the fact that the dump wont take the lawn mowers unless I drain the gas and oil. A little extra work for me now, but next time I'll tell the customer that I'll only accept something with an engine if it is completely drained. Now I have 4 broken lawn mowers in my yard that I need to drain today. Don't make the same mistake!

  My brother and I are general handymen. We do just about anything. We had a former customer ask us for a quote on removing a brick wall. 25'x4.5'. We said $380. They said it was too much and asked how much to just knock it down and stack the bricks. Shot back $300. Still too much for them. We're not a charity. We are both middle age. If it ain't worth the wear on our bodies we ain't gonna do it. People want back breaking labor done for little to no money.

  $65,000 is more than what I make in a year. People telling you that isn’t a lot are pretty privileged.

  Love the transparency. 65k isn't anything to put your nose up at. The gratification of building something on your own, that 65k feels like a million. I just did my first full time season washing and I'm so excited to keep building.

  Please please invest in safety gloves, safety glasses, dust masks and safety shoes (pierce proof hard toe) you don’t wanna get stick with a rusty nail or cut by a unexpected piece of glass, ask me how i know🤕.. safety first guys just looking out for you since i made a few mistakes👌

  Anyone who has the opinion that 65K is not enough needs to leave the room. Immediately. There is no value in that mindset.

  One advantage I would tell everyone is before starting make sure you do research what you can drop at the landfill or where can you dump certain stuff.
