Oh my, to be in that cabin, fireplace crackling, sitting in a comfy, overstuffed wingback chair under a warm blanket, a couple of good books and a steaming cup of hot chocolate, plenty of supplies to ride out the storm. That would be heaven.

Again it reminds me of the upper peninsula in Michigan. Once on the way we were broke down on a lonely road up in the u.p. the 64 Ford blew a water pump. And my Dad had to hitch hike to town in this kind of weather. My Mom wrapped us in blankets. And I wonder if Dad we ever make it back. Hours later he did.fixed the car just before dark. And we continued on to the farm house. Snow just coming down and bitter cold. Thank God for his help!

This reminds me of when I was a little girl. I use to love watching it snow outside my bedroom window. It was always so pretty. I really loved the sound of the wind blowing. That was at least 70 years ago, when I was about 8. We don’t get storms like that here anymore. I live in Pennsylvania, USA. I’m not sure where this is but it’s beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. God Bless you. Always 🙋🏻‍♀️💖🙏❄️🌨️❄️🌨️❄️

I'm in MA. Growing up we'd have frequent storms. Maybe not as fabulous as this, but definitely wonderful. Not only for sleeping and relaxing, etc. But we had a large screened in porch with huge windows and it was furnished for summer use. I use to go out there and lay down on the sofa, listening and watching the beauty of a NorEaster and although I am a grandma today it's one of my best lifetime memories. Sadly the weather pattern has changed. It's already March and we haven't had even any shoveable snow all winter. But I'm glad i have this to listen to and watch. It's healing.
