  What a thing to say about love. After the Prince's statment, Lady Diana Spencer should have heard the alarm bells ringing and ended the whole thing. What kind of man says that in front of his fiancé ? She had understood as it reflects only too well on her face. She deserved to marry for love and not a title.

  resonate more with Spencer's perspective. I firmly believe that traumas, such as parents' separation and arguments, have a profound impact on everyone. However, what's even more devastating is being deprived of love and affection, solely being viewed as a figurehead destined for royalty. How wonderful would that be? Right, King Carlos. Regrettably, Diana was too young and idealistic, believing in the fairy tale of true love and a benevolent royal family. She trusted in the goodness of those around her, which sadly proved to be her misconception! And today, the truth has come to light. The harsh reality is that Diana was exploited, mistreated, and discarded when she was no longer deemed necessary. All the distress that occurred and continues to plague this obsolete royal family should indeed be a thing of the past. England and other nations have paid dearly for the sake of salacious novel-like stories, merely entertaining those who don't care about the genuine struggles of others. Forgive me, but this is the truth. I'm well aware that when one uncovers the truth, they're often silenced and conveniently erased from the public eye. How convenient it is, indeed? May God keep Queen Diana's memory alive, inspiring us to learn valuable lessons from her story. Amén

  I was up all night crying during that funeral from Florida .  I will never forget as long as I live. I cried all night long.

  Interesting that the journalists often describe Diana and Fergie as "needy wives." Is it needy to want your spouse to live with you and want to be with you for some meaningful time each day?  It seems like their two husbands had learned that marriage was nothing more than a document and producing heirs. Why marry at all if not for companionship, support and love?

  The windsors deserved to hear what Diana’s brother said at his Eulogy. They focused only on duty, but the crown slipped in many ways. I have no respect for Elizabeth II as she failed to provide Diana the lifeline she so desperately needed. She threw up her hands in helping Diana. In so doing, she played a poor mentor and has responsibility in Diana’s unfortunate death. Being human and having little human compassion Elizabeth II’s crown slipped. All of her children’s marriages failed, and she played a part in all of it. She wasn’t a loving and compassionate person. There has to be a happy medium. Instead Elizabeth II hoped that issues would just “disappear.” Diana at 21, never should have been married to Charles. It came at an ultimately event that was her undoing. Diana was the people’s princess, and no one could ever live up to her amazing charisma, compassion, and love. Shame on all of the royal family.

  I think that video of her boys walking behind her coffin will always be in my memory. How terribly sad for them. I read recently that the current Earl Spencer fought very hard with RF to prevent that, but they insisted. Such a shame. A lot of pain for those boys.
