I’ve watched a few of these videos and you’re the first to put a carbon monoxide alarm in your tent. Very smart.

I did winter training for the Army up in Alaska. Part of that training was to sleep outside in around -30° weather.
A lot of people couldn’t complete that part due to risk of hypothermia. I had an officer tell me that night when you settle down, get in your sleeping bag, get completely undressed and layer your clothes underneath you to give some insulation between you and the ground….
let me tell you what—I never thought I could be so hot on that cold of a night. no fire, no external warmth, just body heat and I was burning up and the best part was the next morning my clothes were warm as hell too.

I think Chester understands better than you think.
1. He took his head off your shoulder after you complained
2. He assisted in digging snow from camp ground
3. He bit branches for firewood
Chester is great!😂

Chester. The number one star of the show. What the perfect life for a dog! He’s so damn cute.. totally tuckered out after a fun snow day. you can tell he just wants to help, but he doesn’t know how 😂 such a good boy ☺️

Your dog wouldnt be cold. Genetics are an amazing thing. Labs are bred to jump into freezing water all day long to retrieve ducks. Their coats are designed for cold, the reason ice and snow freezes to their fur is because they are so well insulated that their body heat doesn't melt it.

Small battery powered or rechargeable fan to hang on the light cord to circulate the warm air down from the ceiling. Works great when out ice fishing

2:53 chester helping clear the snow and looking so happy doing it. Also i would never use a propane heater again for long term heating, I've gotten poisioning a few times in my life from doing that.
