The incredible arrogance of the woman who hugged her at her dad's funeral and admonished her to "stop crying". How completely thoughtless. So sorry she had to go through that.

I was at his service. It was at my home church Salem. Absolutely beautiful service. I know I was crying. Growing up in Chicago, we loved Bernie Mac. He made us so proud.

The minute Je'Niece said she’s sensitive, everything else she said clicked into place for me. She’s not just sensitive with emotions, she is sensitive spiritually—in tune with deeper levels of understanding. She will not be able to build internal walls like her family members have and the fact that she knows and sees deeply is what irritates them to the point of keeping her at arms length.
