Do you think DB (Z, Daima, Super, GT) needs a remake? Or do you just want Super to be animated finally lmao

Yes please, I've been saying this since years. So many people didn't even see the first half of Dragonball... and imagine a full remake in Daimas artstyle. One can only dream

if Dragon Ball were to be remade I want it to start on Planet Vegeta so we can see the life of the Saiyans and follow Bardock and Gine until the inevitable demise when they send Kakarot off. This would be a nice way of getting more Bardock and Gine (for my sake)

One of the most important stories in fiction give toiyama's magnum opus the love and respect it deserves!!!

I agree Dragon Ball needs to be redone from beginning, cohesively and coherent, fixing plotholes, writing flaws and better maangement

one of the biggest things I’d want out of a remake IS art style change, lemme explain

I really want a dragon ball remake to show the evolution Toriyama went through with his art. End of dragon ball adult Goku is drawn way different to namek saga Goku and I think having a consistent style would make it less interesting. (I also think it would be sad ignoring Toriyama’s original ideas and drawings)

this is also how I feel about the one piece remake coming to Netflix lol

Ever since I started following the franchise, I've always wanted Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z to be a single anime, as it always confused and bothered me that people didn't know Kid Goku's journey. And then I had an idea. I read the entire original manga as if it were 21-minute episodes, not counting openings and endings. The 519 chapters turned into 135 episodes without fillers (the two original animes combined have 385 episodes without fillers), with some special episodes lasting a little over 30-45 minutes as saga finales (Goku vs. Demon King Piccolo; Goku vs. Piccolo Jr.), similar to the special episodes of Demon Slayer. With that, I imagined the series could be called just Dragon Ball, with 135 episodes (and maybe some fillers to develop the world and characters, like short training arcs) and with a more dynamic pace and art style similar to Daima's. That would be the peak!

I would rather have a Dragon Ball anime remake that adapts the original 1984 - 1995 manga and then a separate Dragon Ball Super remake that adapts the Super manga.
