When you really need that moon to be made of cheese.

I locw these episodes that focus on science fiction but work to stay in harder science explanations. SFIA never fails to make me think about what could be, and the often even more magical what really is.

The amount of uses Issac always finds and points out in technology never ceases to amaze.

As good as many Sci-Fi writers can be, Isaac still puts them to shame in terms of scale and breadth.

Another good episode Isaac.

After watching the old Highlander series we referred to "hammer space" as "Katana Space" since near the end of the series they could pull a large concealed sword out of their t-shirt.

This got me thinking, about how advanced technology may appear magical to those unfamiliar with it.

But what if we just, straight-up, invented literal magic?

That talk about waste heat made me think of a heat-sink composed of a space of altered physical constants where heat simply ceases to exist.

When you warp reality, make sure to keep your Gellar Field up.

Imagine our universe is the backend of a warp drive with negative mass

The hammer space bit reminds me of what I would do in the old command and conquer.

The APC unit couod hold like 5 or 10 dudes or whatever but it could also use those slots for other larger units...like other APCs...

What I ended up doing was using a few slots for dudes and fitting one other APC inside the other and repeating the process.

It's high risk because if you destroy the base APC everything else goes with it. However, if I pulled it off, unpacking the whole strike force before my opponent noticed it was one hell of a routing, especially if I had another distraction force attacking them as well.

This would basically be humanity unlocking creative mode and I would be all down for it!

"The new space drive works great but everyone in the crew had a heart attack when their blood wouldn't flow anymore. We're still reviewing the data."

looks like this is just about the most overpowered ability commonly used in fiction. would be awesome if we could master it, but my god that accidental big bang is scary
