You are the 2nd you tube quilter who showed me how to use up my leftover fabric instead of buying anything new so I plan on using up my stash in 2025 instead of buying anything new. Thanks for the idea

In Brazil we use this technique with our scraps to make rugs...it's beautiful and fun. ❤

I used a 1.5 stitch length. That way they don't come apart on the edges. So important.

What is so great about the scraps is they roll into a roll that can be so easy to store if you are not ready to sew. Then your bucket is ready for more scraps😊. I am finding that working with scraps, it is much easier to finger press as you were with your tool then when done with my strips press with dry iron. I am also trying to press as I sew blocks or strips together. When sewing with scraps or crumbs so much is on the bias and that can easily get me into a mess. I never used to starch but that also seems to help when working with smaller pieces. Your tutorials are great content. Thanks
