  I know an old couple that do the smoking thing. He parks somewhere then stands next to his car and smokes; he then changes his shirt or jacket, depending on the weather, and goes home. She just waits for him to leave or go to sleep, then goes outside. All their friends know about it and we all just play along. I figure they have to know, but neither one wants to say anything, so it just keeps going.

  The actor who plays the dad was awesome as a quirky and gruff land owner in a few episodes of The Detectorists. One of my top favorite series ever!

  Watch this film, you won't be disappointed.  This film succeeds on SO MANY levels, it should be used in film schools to teach.  All the technical details hit the mark.  The writing is SUPERB and the actors' performances and chemistry is perfect.  MAJOR PROPS cast & crew, you killed me.

  It's hilarious how his mum rebukes him for swearing and his dad is distracted by the mysterious lack of whole carrots in carrot cake, completely ignoring the fact that their other son has killed his wife and put her body in a freezer. It's all about prioritising, lol!
