  While I was in Iraq my buddy encountered Jamie&apos;s son who was riding a skateboard. We laughed about an American kid skateboarding in a combat zone. Three years ago my buddy found a video where Jamie talks about his son and showed it to me is why I&apos;m here. <br><br>Recently I applied a lesson learned from watching Jamie. I heard God speak and obeying what God said opened up an opportunity for a job I had dreamed about 12 years ago while I was homeless. Six months after the dream was sleeping in my truck through a winter in Minnesota and encountered a woman who was blind in her left eye. I couldn&apos;t walk away and not do anything because that&apos;s how I was treated so I prayed with her and God restored her sight. Experiencing the blind see showed me my situation didn&apos;t define me and giving up wasn&apos;t an option. I applied to 1,300 jobs over three years and the one that said yes is a mile from the place I was at in my dream. <br><br>I&apos;m living proof what Jamie and Donna talk about is true.

  Yessss, full circle from the first episode! It was seriously life changing for me discovering this podcast and Jamie back then..i&apos;m now free from clinical depression by the power of Jesus, through a real identity exchange and weekly reminders of God moving in our world on this podcast!   I love that Donna is bringing out how preposterous it is that the accepted way to introduce Jesus to unbelievers is to get them to repeat a five-minute (or less) prayer for a life changing experience. To me, you might as well say abracadabra after the prayer because the person knows absolutely nothing about what it means to follow Jesus. Telling them to join a church is not the answer either. We tell people &quot;Jesus is the Answer&quot; but you have to follow the church. No, No- learning to hear Jesus&apos; voice is the most important thing a born-again believer can learn, because who are we to follow- a church or Jesus? And how do you learn relationship with Jesus without knowing his voice. The church cannot walk our walk with Jesus for us. EVERY person has their own path. Jamie and Donna live a relationship that models a relationship with God through Jesus which translates to unity in their marriage and family.<br> God&apos;s way is so good.

  My encouragement to Donna would be, if she didn&apos;t go, they probably wouldn&apos;t have believed Jamie meant what he said when he said he wasn&apos;t afraid and he wanted to be his friend. I know that night sucked for you, and I still think it was more pivotal than you might have believed that you went. Thank you guys for sharing! Love your testimonies. 🙂👍
