  Please know that this is just my opinion. I have no qualms as to how you spend your money. I really love how much enthusiasm you all have for OoT! It's one of my favorite Zelda games too, I'm just tired of remakes and won't be purchasing it. Maybe someday I'll change my mind, but we'll see. To all of you that have provided conversation and constructive criticism, thank you. It helps me grow as a person and a creator. I can't respond to every comment, but I do read them all and appreciate your thoughts.

  The thing about the OOT remake for the Switch 2 is that it's taking advantage of the hardware to show what it's capable of using Ocarina of Time. It's a brilliant idea, and it's already why so many people are buying their Switch 2. It was ported many times over the years as well due to the fact that it's one brilliant game, just being relived again. The same goes for the 3DS, revamping the graphics and the controls, but ultimately, the same overall. However, Nintendo are rebuilding this game from the ground up, with a lot less restrictions from hardware this time, and there is no problem why anyone should buy it. You can encourage people as much as you want to not buy it, but it's not going to work because of the high quality of the title itself.

  It’s not necessarily that they didn’t do a good job the first time. It’s about improving and refining the experience. Yeah the 3DS version was better than the original graphically, but I’d rather have something I can play on my television to be quite honest.

  To help your argument I would've mentioned the reselling of older games like Mario Wonder on Switch 2, or Mario 3D World on Switch 1, Mario Kart Deluxe which included all the DLC from the Wii U version... then defeated its own purpose, the whole point to BEING a deluxe version of the game, and released more new DLC many years later.

  You forgot to mention that it was also on the Zelda collectors edition on the gamecube it was one of the 4 games you could play thenother was MM, LoZ and AoL plus you could play a trial version of WW for 30 min

  I don’t think you realize the amount of work that will go into this game, the amount of pressure to create a remake to live up to the greatest game of all time will be no small effort.<br>The creators will put their heart and souls into this one

  After seeing the Nintendo Direct, it got me, and I had to pre-order it and get a Switch2. <br>I had too many emotions and just about cried thinking about playing with my dad when I was a kid when he was still with us.

  I wish I could buy the better version of ocarina of time but then buying a game without physical media is how the companies win and how i lose

  afaik they are willing to implement things they couldn&apos;t on n64 in this remake, but idk if that&apos;s true, because there has to be something they will change so that people would want to buy and play the remake over the 3d or ship of harkinian
