The pilot-captain, citizen of India 😇Smit Machchhar, became a real hero, he did not allow the terrorist to destroy the plane: he entered into a fight with him, gave a distress signal (SOS), and also managed to open the cabin door and call for help.Two Israeli passengers and a crew member subdued the attacker; the flight doctor assisted the injured pilot. It was a passenger—not a crew member—who prevented the plane from crashing (see the interview this hero gave alongside Netanyahu upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport). By a stroke of luck, there were two relief pilots on board who flew the plane to the airport.

  UAE and Emirates/ Fly Dubai have to explain how they got this copilot into the cockpit. Two days after the near tragic incident, we still do not know the details of this attacker. This , in my view , is a blow to the safety standards of the UAE airlines. The worst thing for a flight is a pilot who wants to kill the passengers for some reason with out any human values.

  The Captain managed to open the door after getting stabbed multiple times and before falling unconscious, gave the chance to the passengers to save the plane. Without it, the plane was doomed.

  The aircraft on which the passenger were brought back to Israël cannot be the incident aircraft. The incident aircraft was badly damage at the rudder, most probably due to the high speed dive. This aircraft need to be repaired before it can be flown again.

  Suddenly the aircraft plunge by 17000ft. Why the Oxygen masks were not engaged?  Why the guy that save the pilot did not become disoriented?
