  The scene where Lex and Atom assume they escaped AMAZO but find themselves in his palm HAS to be a Journey to the West reference

  "We create our own purpose in life, now  go create yours." I love how Lex is terrified of AMAZO's power and then we he sees he is a character in existential crisis, he pity's him.

  I liked how Amazo saw his creator Dr Ivo as a father and was tenderly watching his body before it got blown up

  &quot;We create our own purpose in life, so go create yours.&quot;<br>that reminds me of a line from Hunchback of Notre Dame &quot;Life&apos;s not a spectator sport, if watching is all your gonna do then soon enough your going watch your life go by without you&quot;

  Though Luther is objectively lying, I don’t think he means to lie in that scene. I think in his head he sees both as the same thing

  I&apos;m reminded of the words of Mewtwo in the first pokémon movie. &quot;The circumstances of one&apos;s birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that truly matters.&quot;

  I like Amazo&apos;s Academy Award look more than the shirtless elf look he had in the comics.

  Thank you for saying those things about Lex and the God complex. I hate him because he resorts to a victim mentality whenever he is humbled. He goes from &quot;No one can stand up to me!&quot; to &quot;This godlike alien is bullying me, a mere mortal, just because I wanted to blow up California.&quot; It&apos;s so mentally grating

  It is pretty funny that lex did in fact save the world a few times over like against darkseid

  Lex speech to Amazo is like positive version of Agent Smith’s speech to Neo about purpose in The Matrix Reloaded
