I pulled a Jeter Fortune 15 refractor card out of a box of 1999 Topps Chrome a couple of years ago. Only 100 of them made. And it's hard to even put a value on it, because they rarely even come up for sale.

Last time I checked about 10-15 years ago a lot of my 80s and 90s cards weren't worth the trouble of selling. I stumbled across your video today and think I should go check again....I have several of these. Not sure of the grade, so I'll have to find somewhere to look at raw/ungraded values, but thanks for for the inspiration.

I'm glad to see junk wax Finally getting some recognition. However, it sat idle during the entire covid boom and after. It was very frustrating too see everything else skyrocket while junk wax was still spit on. I must admit, it got to me & I began dumping a lot of my junk wax for cheap or just outright threw much away. Let's hope the uptick continues because I still have a lot left.

Would’ve been cool if you’d quoted what an 8 or 7 sell for showing the massive gap between 9 and 10 for this era. You’re taking a chance with the grading fees on junk wax era.

The reprints of the old card designs is creating a demand for the originals.

Key Highlights and Takeaways:<br><br>• Market Surge: Many cards cited have increased in value by 50% to over 300% in the last two years (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=55">0:55</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=210">3:30</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=830">13:50</a>). <br>• Factors for Growth: The host attributes this to renewed collector interest in iconic rookies, limited availability of high-grade cards (PSA 9 and 10), and the nostalgic appeal of these specific eras (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=15">0:15</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=68">1:08</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=719">11:59</a>).<br>• Categorization: The video breaks down the cards into:<br>• Base Cards: Including notable names like Nolan Ryan, Rickey Henderson, Cal Ripken Jr., and Ken Griffey Jr. (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=30">0:30</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=885">14:45</a>).<br>• Fancy/Special Edition Cards: Highlighting rarer versions such as the Tiffany sets, Fleer Glossy, and Desert Shield editions, which command significantly higher premiums (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=887">14:47</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=1425">23:45</a>).<br><br>Top Performers Mentioned:<br>1. 1987 Fleer Glossy Bo Jackson (PSA 10): The host notes this card is now four times more valuable than it was two years ago, rising from $170 to $680 (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=1401">23:21</a>).<br>2. 1989 Fleer Ken Griffey Jr. Glossy (PSA 9): Experienced a 3.1x increase in value, jumping from $24 to $645 (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=1357">22:37</a>).<br>3. 1987 Topps Traded Greg Maddux Tiffany (PSA 10): Saw a 2.9x increase, moving from $416 to $1,224 (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTCAC_uuiAw&amp;t=1323">22:03</a>).

My dad had a card shop called Home Plate Advantage in a small town in the mid 80&apos;s to early 90&apos;s. We had thousands of these cards in showcase and sealed wax boxes and complete sets! Funny seeing these prices!
