  as someone who keeps shrimp, crustaceans can be sensitive to water change. the reason why the clean water would cause the lurks to die off may be due to shock from the changing water's chemistry.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSZaTQ7p0b8&amp;t=908">15:08</a> the fact that softshell meat is only occasionally found on Mirelurk Kings to me me implies a third option that you didn&apos;t consider. The kings may eat the weak or underperforming hunters. We could be finding their undigested meals, similar to how we find things like ammunition or clothing on the odd animal corpse as if they&apos;d eaten a person equipped with the items.

  I think the FO4 Mirelurk Kings are mutated lungfish or mudskippers. Also, the description of them having lungs and gills at the same time is interesting because IRL, the lungs of terrestrial vertebrates are derived from swim bladders!<br><br>Horshoe Crabs are not actually crabs, as they&apos;re more related to arachnids and aren&apos;t even crustaceans.

  Today I learned that Mirelurks can&apos;t attack in water. I always assumed they could cause Slaughterfish in Oblivion.

  I always felt bad for killing the red death. It’s not its fault that it was born with red eyes if anything, you should blame the ship captains for crashing when seeing an ominous red light. I wish you could’ve kept it as a pet. I would’ve named him Darrell.

  Can personally confirm, mole crabs are ALL OVER the east coast of the USA. Catching them is a top tier childhood memory
