Gary, did you see/talk about the interview yet that Charles Dance did recently where he voiced his displeasure over the way the show ended? It was on Good Morning Britain. You could tell the people interviewing him we're surprised that he was criticizing the show. They must be super casual fans that just want to be entertained and don't think much about if it makes sense and is consistent with the previous seasons but I digress.

It was great to see my favorite character in this series agree with the rest of us. Though he tried to not totally blast this season since he's a classy guy and doesn't want to do that to a show that he worked on and made him much more well known. Still though, glad to have him publicly in our camp!

I didn't think about it until the day after watching the episode but we never got to see Jon say goodbye to Davos. The man who is responsible for Jon being alive! And did more for him than any living person.

Yes, Millasandei resurrected him but Davos was the one to find Jon. Davos was the one who had Jon's friends bring him to the room and then told them to bolt the door. Davos is the one who went to Millasandei and asked, then convinced her to try to bring him back and then after that, was Jon's closest advisor. He helped Jon rally the North and helped lead the BOB. Went to Dragonstone with him to convince Daeny to come to Winterfell to fight the dead. After they won, he lead the North South when Jon went back to Dragonstone to see Daeny after Euron ambushed her ships and Killed Rhagol. He then fought side by side with Jon in the capital.

Davos could have returned home many different times to his wife whom he hadn't seen in years but instead he stuck by Jon's side and after ALL THAT, we don't get to see them say goodbye to each other. We don't get to see Jon express his gratitude to Davos for a 2nd chance at life and everything else he did for him. How fucking lame.

I bet D&D didn't even think to have them say goodbye to each other. That or they insulted the viewers intelligence by thinking that we would never think about it so it was cool to leave that out so there was enough screen time to have Tyrion shuffle some chairs around. What an utter waste of a final season. I'll never watch anything those 2 make ever again.

If only MauLer had been in charge of the scripts. That would have been one badass show.

 1) Get a copy of Crusader Kings 2
2) Install GoT mod
3) Play a campaign
4) You now have a story you can pretend is canon
5) If unhappy repeat from step 3 until satisfied

It’s funny that Rian Johnson try to troll people for this show being like the last Jedi, and then it gets all of this backlash. So it’s kind of like confirming the last Jedi was just as bad.
