Reminds of of the old phrase &quot; For the want of a nail the shoe was lost.........&quot; &nbsp; &nbsp;Very easy for a trivial component loss or missing to cascade into complete failure. &nbsp; Glad that you were able to make this a useful generator again.<br>Dave.

Worked at what WAS a B&amp;S facility in McDonough Ga, we would get trailers full from the port in Savannah Ga. DIRECTLY from CHI NA , the loads many times had at least TEN or more DIFFERENT name brands and they ALL were produced in ONE factory

I&apos;ve learned more from you than any other &quot;mechanically inclined&quot; individual. Thank you for your public service.

I wasn&apos;t worried about your ability to literally &quot;repower&quot; this one, Jim. I was expecting spare parts, but reasonably priced new ones are even better. Might have liked to see you load it close to 6500 just to see if that new power head would put it out. Top quality as always and keep em coming!

Great video James. &nbsp; The dishonesty of the seller about this generator makes me sad about human nature. &nbsp;Kind Regards, Craig

That powerhead failed catastrophically all because of one missing ziptie on the powerhead, very nice work bringing it back to life James!

Even Briggs doesn&apos;t use their own engines in their products these days.

We have seen what one missing zip tie can cause. Brought back from the dead for sure. Thanks for posting.

You make it all look so easy. Your warning to others not to try this if they are not sure is really helpful too. Thanks that was very enjoyable and rewarding to watch :)

Lovely job James. The Chinese do not seem to use any sort of standards for color coding cables in manufacture We have ours in Europe and you have yours in North America. They are not the same but widely known. No one knows what the Chinese are doing. Only long experience enables you to know which powerheads, and sometimes other parts, are transferable into defunct machines and which ones will make commercial sense. Investing 300 or 400 dollars into buying new parts shows me that you have a certain confidence in what you do. I am much more reticent.
