  The lady officer, elegantly leaning against the wall with her hands stuffed in her vest, has a problem of ego led dominance. This is an offensive stance that will annoy any of her victims, produce no useful information, except under duress, and does nothing for the reputation of the police in public interactions. The other officer, nearer the car, presented well developed social skills and is a credit to the force. Unfortunately what will happen is that the wall leaner will be left on the streets as a constable, while the skilled conversationalist will be promoted to a desk job and rarely have contact with the public.

  The public are at far more risk from the police than any constable is from the public.<br><br>Most police constables are not reasonable, they are likely to be as criminally intent as the general public.<br>For anyone still claiming that filming police or police stations in public is illegal or automatically “hostile reconnaissance”:<br><br>In 2010, ACPO (now the NPCC) issued guidance to police stating:<br><br>“There are no powers prohibiting the taking of photographs, film or digital images in a public place.”<br><br>Officers were specifically told they “should not prevent anyone from taking photographs in public.”<br><br>The College of Policing position remains clear: police have no general power to stop people filming or photographing police personnel.<br><br>And in 2023, the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) addressed auditors specifically:<br><br>“It is not an offence to be an Auditor or to film personnel and property from a place the Auditor is allowed to be.”<br><br>Filming alone is not evidence of hostile reconnaissance. If there are genuine grounds to suspect an offence, police can act — but simply filming a police station or police officers from a lawful public place is not an offence.<br><br>They think they are superior to the public when they are in fact subservient.

  As surveillance of the general public has increased exponentially (Cctv, Gatso, Anpr etc) the public have objected. &nbsp; We are continually told &quot;If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear&quot;. &nbsp; The question begs to be asked: &nbsp; What are police hiding that makes them so fearful when a camera is pointed at THEM!

  Anybody would think the police are scared and terrified of the public realising how truly incompetent , badly trained, &nbsp;unfit for the role, corrupt and criminal they actually are, keep up the work in exposing them, 👍👍 the sooner the public realise, their ignorance could be paying you thousands in compensation , this behaviour is unlikely to stop until every officer is held personally, legally, responsible for their actions,until then , we just have to keep tolerating &nbsp;them.

  i have no idea what the standard is for becoming an inspector, but it looks to be very low ! is it just years of service getting away with doing very little ?
