John Carmack just described my entire gaming life 😂. He brings out a very good point on how flexible or adaptable are these modern AI models 👍

His Quake 3D game ushered in a whole new universe. GAI is to John a logic puzzle. He will solve it. He can visualize and hold in memory, the heart of a mountainous engineering problem. Probably the best engineer on planet Earth.

Glad to see Carmack working on this. However, it seems to me that these models are just black boxes and the main effort is just trying to figure it out the right set of inputs to get the desired flow, but it is really not well understood how. <br><br>This seems like a trial and error kind of effort, very different to graphics where the physics are known, the real bottle neck is instructions, memory and latency. Very different domain.
