I'm 77 years old and in my life only two or three people have ever been truly mean to me. But when I opened a Facebook profile about 8 years ago I couldn't grasp how many strangers would attack me for saying something innocuous that, face to face, would never have happened. I've come to the conclusion that the psychological dynamics of this is a lot like road rage. When you're sealed up in your car you are totally separate from others, disconnected, impersonal. Facebook is like that. I deleted my profile. It was too toxic.

Wacky Tack: Fundamentalist Christian but can be referred to any religious fanatic. It's a term often used to describe Christians in general...which is a bit biased. Hasn't anyone else heard this term?
