  One cool thing about this video is that these tips can be applied to ANY skill you&apos;re trying to develop. Art has always been something I&apos;ve been interested in, but right now I&apos;m probably going to put this tips into studying Japanese. the main things I got from this video are:<br><br>1. <b>create an xp system</b> track your total hours and anything you&apos;ve created over time. it&apos;s more important to show up every day and make a tiny bit of progress than to try and make a lot of progress every time you show up<br>2. <b>share your progress</b> with others! turn comparison into motivation. if you stick with it long enough, you can make it just as far. remember to never stop showing up every day to practice!<br>3. learn for yourself, not for others. don&apos;t try to please everyone else!

  Id like to share that I recently played Persona 3 and treating art as a &quot;social stat&quot; has not only made the grind feel less daunting but more fun because every session I&apos;ll &quot;give&quot; myself 1-3 XP points which goes into my overall art level. Turning life (and art in this case) into a game is a criminally underrated way of going about things.
