As a contractor, I wasn’t allowed a client car pass so my Ltd Co paid for a motorcycle (including equipment and training) as a necessary means of getting to a place of work. Turned out to be extremely tax and time efficient.

I was given mixed advice about gym memberships.
Ultimately I have been putting it through as an expense because my work has a significant physical element and requires maintaining a decent level of fitness.

Have added 6 x events across the year to my calendar as a reminder for £50 trivial benefits such as "Easter goodwill gesture". Looking forward to the work function twice a year as well partying with myself.

What are people buying on these 'up to £50' tax free gifts?
Would a bottle of wine be okay?
Would some sports clothes be okay?
Some ideas would be appreciated.

I'm led to believe you can have up to 6 per year and generally they shouldn't be at regular times?
