Yes. Shirley Henderson as Moaning Myrtle in Harry Potter. Also Bridged's Dad is Horace Slughorn, Mom is Madam Pomfrey.

The first time I saw Brandon I thought he was a one time special guest. I'm so glad he's becoming more of a regular, I enjoy his commentary.

Most of my life I thought Renée Zellweger was British in real life because of this movie lool 😂 this movie is also a loose adaptation of Pride & Prejudice

The fight was originally a fully choreographed punch up but it was decided that a real fight with pulling hair, childish slaps and going ‘ow’ was more realistic. Colin and Hugh said it was more close to how a fight would be between two middle class Englishmen

No one ever mentions that Natasha is Ms.Honey from Matilda.. that differences in hair colour really makes the difference

The director really wanted Colin Firth for this because they were madly in love with him from Jane Austens Pride and Prejudice TV series. The whole of the UK went crazy over him in that, especially when he emerges from a lake in a wet shirt. <br> In that he was Fitzwilliam Darcy, and in this he is Mark Darcy. The name of the book publishers Bridget works for is Pemberley Press. In P&P Darcy lived in a mansion called Pemberley. This whole movie is based on P&P. Lots of fun references. BTW that was the real reaction the girl extra had to Bridget leaving, the Sadam line. They hadn't heard the line before.

There was a point in time, not that long ago, when being single meant not being married. I think "single" in this movie meant never having been married. In 2025, single means not being in a relationship.
