  I met Darryl when he was a frontman for a Plastic film company for a short period. I was the Purchasing Manager and he came into our Purolator Filters factory in Mississauga for a tour while our oil filter line was in full production. About 30 people left the line to get autographs and filters were falling over the place. Darryl would pull out his  8 x 10’s and signed them right on the spot. The most gracious superstar ever. Although it was a costly day of scrap, all the management were in awe of the visit. He came another time to view his film product being tested. I had advised the plant foremen in advance but, regardless,they had to shut down the line.Darryl was a simply a “god” to us all. Great memories.

  Having guests is a great evolution of Clearing the Crease.....great to see this bond between Darryl and Tiger. Need more behind the scenes of NHL players. It has been far too sterile for a long time to truly get to know the amazing people behind the great game of hockey.

  In the mid 70's I was around 13 years old and went to Team Canada Hockey School in Vancover.  Darryl Sittler was the lead Instructor for the whole week. He was so nice, so much fun, and taught me a ton. He worked with me on how to redirect the puck to score goals. One of of my chidlhood heros. Still have his autograph.....and I'm 64 years old now.

  Gosh, I remember that night Darryl scored 10 points. It was as if the hockey gods said, &quot;Every time he touches the puck, it goes in the net.&quot;<br>Tiger is the Atypical love him or hate him type of player.<br>As your teammate, he&apos;s the type to wear his heart on his sleeve.<br>That story of Brian Trottier giving him his Stanley Cup ring says it all.

  This is a masterclass in how to host. No dead air, yet never once did anyone cut off the guests when they were talking or try to redirect the focus to themselves. This is why I think CTC is the top line center of hockey podcasts/youtube.
