  Thank you for your honesty. I started my collection by listening to videos that overhyped the perfume. I began to realize that many of the fragrances smelled alike just cost more and like you, I noticed that I was still reaching for the same 3-4 fragrances despite my collection of 200 bottles. &nbsp;I thank God for giving me wisdom to see what was happening.

  I use my perfume for myself. I always had a love for it. &nbsp;As I got older and I started to lose my family, I bought their perfumes as a coping mechanism for grief. When you love someone so much and you see their face shine and you hug them with such pure love, and you inhale their scent that sent will always stay with you.

  I don’t buy full bottles, I only use the 2ml to 10ml samples I get in discovery collections and I already have more than I can use 😊 I realised for me it’s more about the experiencing new perfumes than needing to own big bottles.

  Blind buying is going to dinner at a new restaurant: either it becomes your new favorite spot, it’s wretched and you get sick, or you don’t particularly remember it and would only go back if you were driving by and starving.

  Thank you for a brutally honest video on perfume collecting. &nbsp;I have 200 bottles and I have such nostalgia for a time back in 2006 when I had only 5 perfumes that I chose because I loved them. &nbsp;After that... the hype came... and the FOMO... and the &quot;I don&apos;t have many from this category&quot;. &nbsp; I&apos;ll give you another truth. &nbsp;Nobody wants them. &nbsp;I&apos;ve asked around and people are willing to take them off my hands but certainly NOT willing to pay even half price. &nbsp;Such is life! &nbsp; Thank you for posting.

  I don&apos;t think I found truths but after some extremely regrettable blind buys I got some rules I stick to:<br>- Never buy 100mls first <br>- Test on paper, test on skin and never buy in the first smell<br>- Blind buys only under €25, must be well researched

  This video is so accurate abs truthful. Often perfume releases are talked about in videos, &nbsp;then you don&apos;t hear about them again. &nbsp;I find is not best to buy early, i like to take time and decide what i will enjoy. &nbsp;I don&apos;t buy perfume for compliments, &nbsp;I purchase what I enjoy smelling on me.

  I realllly needed to hear this thank you. You are so right on every point and what hit home most for me was the idea that “The One” and finding “My Signature Scent”, I already know what they are and I already have them. I’ve been off the deep end recently and this helped ground me. Thank you ❤
