  I like this ship quite a lot and I would like to see more of them in and around the verse. But what do you guys think about the Anvil Gladiator in Star Citizen? As Always let me know down below!!

  I’ve refused to give up hope that this ship would be revisited. Has great lore and purpose just needs to be reinforced with stats to get it where it belongs 🙏

  I love the look of the Gladiator, but it does have two major problems (and a lot of bugs currently). <br>1) The Gladiator was quite competitive when it first came out, but then the pilot lost access to the turret guns - which used to work like the Super Hornet Turret. <br>2) The torpedoes are unable to be changed out for other types of S5 torpedoes ever since the Ballista was introduced. Presumably they don&apos;t want us putting the S5 Ballista torpedo on the Gladiator, since that torpedo has a 50m minimum range. However, the problem is that the Ballista&apos;s torpedo has such a ridiculously short range that actually puts a firing vehicle in the blast radius if the torpedo actually detonated at 50m. Stalker V&apos;s are just hot trash, and the Gladius NEEDS to be able to swap them out for literally any other S5 torpedo that doesn&apos;t get confused by a single chaff burst.<br><br>There are a plethora of bugs as well, like the torpedo bay doors having no hit points and instantly being destroyed by any damage - which actually destroys the two torpedoes that are attached to the doors as well, but this seems more like a bug than the above design choices.<br><br>The Gladiator would be a nice light bomber if CIG would give the pilot control of the turret if there is no one in the gunner&apos;s seat (still would be less pilot firepower than a Hornet) and if the torpedoes could be changed out for something more reasonable. The turret guns could even be dropped to S2 if they are concerned with the gun firepower when combined with the missiles - that would actually make the turret guns a little more sized to the ship.<br><br>Regardless, I like the Idea of the Gladiator and I love its looks. I really hope that CIG gives the ship a much needed update to fix its multitude of problems.

  First time I flew a Gladiator was late 2016 when I was first getting into SC, but I didn&apos;t actually FLY one properly until XenoThreat first rolled out. The experience complete shifted my perspective on what this ship was capable of and I&apos;ve had it in my hangar since then.

  The Gladiator is an awesome ship if it was brought up to its intended roll as in lore, but alas it is instead the red headed dwarf step child, no one wants to acknowledge .

  I&apos;ve been flying the Gladiator as one of my main bounty craft for just over year now. It&apos;s just a great choice for so many reasons. <br>It&apos;s damage wracks up, due to it&apos;s high capacitors, along with it being able to take a beating, topped by it&apos;s long afterburner time. Two of them can one pass a hammerhead and then shred the hurricanes, flanking it in an ERT. Just a very reliable, trusty fighter/bomber.

  The Gladiator was my FAV ship back in 2013. I &nbsp;just loved how the gear went into the wings and was a two seater. I still have mine too. ♥

  I know this fighter gets a lot of hate, but I love it. If they&apos;d fix the stupidly short range of the Plasmaburst, this could be an awesome surface-attack strike fighter.

  It Flys like a brick in atmosphere, it badly needs a flight rework. It&apos;s going to be a very important ship when armor comes out.

  I like the gladiator, it was my first pledge ship. I melted it when teh vulture came out on sale because I have been disappointed that it has not been updated and feels like they will never get to it. If they update it in the future I will probably go back to it.

  I&apos;ve worked for this one in previous patches. &nbsp;I was not dissapointed. &nbsp;I love how it&apos;s an older ship that still works in the setting. &nbsp;I&apos;ve killed NPC&apos;s and Players with this one. &nbsp;Surprisingly good with very smooth flight profile and handling. &nbsp;Don&apos;t underestimate this ship.

  Love the Gladiator. Always use mine. Its been in my hanger since day 1. Really needs a make over by CIG. If only some paints/skins would be nice. It just looks the part.
