Great comprehensive review. For people prohibited from owning a firearm, this is a good option 👌

My Umarex .50 cal moded to 500 fps sends a steel ball straight through a can of green beans at 20 feet!

That was a super job in showing us the difference between the two weapons. My gut leans toward the Byrna because the other one with the springs etc seems like they would get weaker as time goes by. We have open carry in Florida now for weapons so it kind of boils down to carry a less lethal weapon and and a lethal weapon....

Hi sir! Thank you for a perfectly fabulous and thoughtful, thorough review of the Byrna, and the Umarex weapons. I'm a little late to the party, as for these type weapons, I knew that such existed, but that was about all. As for guns, at 56 years of age, I'm a lifelong hunter and shooting enthusiast, I've owned and fired many different types and calibers over the years. By sheer chance, I caught a commercial for the Byrna, on the Fox And Friends show early this morning, and it peaked my attention. Did a little reading on the Byrna, then went to YouTube, to check out some video reviews, and landed on yours. I was not aware of the Umarex weapon, until I landed on your video. I watched the entire video with great interest, and I would like to say you delivered a great demonstration, explanation, and review of both weapons. I do agree with you, that the Byrna, is generally superior to the Umarex, in all but one category: Price. It is always taking a chance, with a new product, that you don't know that much about, but all things considered, i think ill try the Umarex. Thanks agsin for the great reviews!
