Crazy how your brain replays that one awkward moment like it was a global event… meanwhile everyone else forgot it before they even got home 💀

I'll watch this video everytime i'll feel bad, because you just described my life here. I'm imprisoned in my own mind every single day, avoiding myself to do stuff, to talk to a stranger, to just live, because I'm so scared to fail or to simply be myself outside. Thank you for that, it really makes me realize how stupid it is, what a waste of time 😄, I'll try to to better and i hope the same everyone in that situation too.💪

Okay but your close friends will for sure never let you live it down when you do something embarrassing in front of them 😂

This hit harder than I expected. It’s kind of wild realizing how much of our lives we spend performing for an audience that isn’t really watching. I can think of so many moments I replay in my head that probably meant nothing to anyone else. Thanks for this video

The 'Illusion of Transparency' [04:30] hit home for me. I always felt like my anxiety was visible to everyone, but knowing it's mostly in my head is so liberating. Thank you for this deep dive into the Spotlight Effect!

I’ve dealt with this my whole life, and it made me a very shy person. I haven’t achieved anything in life. Now, I’m constantly fixated on past situations—things I wish I had handled or resolved differently. The damage is done; I’ve already lost the money I spent years saving, and I don’t know if there’s any solution left. I'm 45. I just can’t seem to achieve financial prosperity.

Everyone else is too busy worrying about how they look to even notice your flaws.
