To get the camera <b>and</b> the glowing eye, you can use a semi-transparent mirror. The round LCD is on the side of the viewing axle, the mirror in the middle at a 45° angle, and the camera behind.

you are going to build a $100,000 GLaDOS!?!? and set it up! that is insane, I really really really hope you do, if you are you could maybe actually hire the voice actor for GLaDOS for more accurate sounding voicelines. man, if you do that, that would be so amazing
